Wulingyuan School launching A Science Survey: Love My Hometown, Protect Giant Salamander,
On May 31, a cluster of science and technology interest group from Jundi elementary in Wulingyuan came to visit Zhangjiajie Giant Salamander Science and Technology Museum in Baofeng scenic area of Wulingyuan, launching a science survey-Love my hometown, Protect giant salamander”
Zhangjiajie Giant Salamander Science and Technology Museum is the first Giant Salamander Museum in the world,Hunan science popularization education base as well as the only science popularization tourist attractions in Zhangjiajie. The museum described fully 10 thousand history through interactive multimedia like sound, light and electricity, integrating science popularization, tourism and arts.
Under the guidance of a tour guide, students enthusiastically paid visit to the museum. They looked closely and took notes about the shape, living environment, evolutionary process and historic culture. At the end the activity, students carefully gathered the survey material together and filled giant salamander questionnaire. Through this experience, the students not only learned about a large amount of knowledge of giant salamander, but also raised their awareness of loving their hometown and protecting rare animals and plants.
