As reported by Chinese postal network, the State Post will publish the first group of stamp named “beautiful China” in the coming national tourism day. This group includes six stamps, and the first one is the scene of Zhangjiajie Imperial Brush Peak.
In September, 25th, 1994, China published the stamp called Wulingyuan, in which Imperial Brush Peak involved, with a par value of 1 yuan. In 2006, Tianzi Mountain ropeway started to use the tickets for postage. The sea of clouds in Imperial Brush Peak was used as its postcards’ picture, with a par value of 0.6 yuan.
Located in Tianzi mountain scenic spot,Imperial Brush Peak is accepted universally as the representative attraction of “Zhangjiajie landform”. Constantly,Imperia lBrush Peak appears in all kinds of media and introductory offers home and abroad. Up to now, it has already been prompted to a scenic spot owning the most exposure and publicity.
China Post will issue the “beautiful China” in May 19th. The landscape displayed in this group of stamp mainly includes Red Beach in PanjinCity, Zhangjiajie City in Hunan Province, Shapotou in Zhongwei, Ningxia Province, Yuanyang Terraced Fields in Honghe Prefecture, Yunnan Province, the Birds’ Paradise in Xinhui, Guangdong Province and Baotianman Natural Reserve in Neixiang County, Henan Province. Their par value are 80 cent, 80 cent, 1.2 yuan, 1.2 yuan, 1.5 yuan and 3 yuan accordingly.
