The first snow hit Huangshizhai Scenic Area in Zhangjiajie on Dec. 1, 2011. The whole area was a world of white snow and ice, looking like hundreds and thousands of pear trees blossoming cheerfully. One journalist from China Green Newspaper shouted joyfully on the top of Huangshizhai, “I am the god of the mountains of Zhangjiajie, and I can view stunning scenery of snow-covered peaks here. This is really a world of fairyland.”
