In order to further enhance the visibility and influence of the zhangjiajie, promote zhangjiajie tourism development and opening to the outside world, Zhangjiajie Tourism Promotion and Hong Kong press conference has been held at the Metropark hotel on causeway bay, Hong Kong ,on June 19th morning. Xu Xianhui, Vice secretary of municipal party committee and Mayor, Cheng Danfeng, Municipal committee and deputy mayor, Zhang yuanci, vice chairman of the CPPCC and city business bureau director have attended the meeting.
During the meeting, Xu Xianhui has elaborated the basic situation, the development strategy of zhangjiajie, and its tourism investment, and so on and so forth from the perspective of “beautiful Zhangjiajie”, “Green Zhangjiajie”, “Amorous Zhangjiajie”, and” Open Zhangjiajie” As a tourism leader in Hunan and the Wuling mountain area, he says, the depression effect of zhangjiajie tourism, ecology, culture, circulation industry development were becoming stronger, which is accelerating strides forward to achieve the goal of being a well-known domestic and foreign tourist destination. In 2012, the tourism industry scale of Zhangjiajie has come to the top compared to similar tourist cities at home, with 35,9million Chinese and foreign visitors and 2.16 inbound tourists, realizing the tourism income of 20.9 billion Yuan.
