On Aug 30, 2013, the vice president of United Airlines Atlantic and Pacific Sales Brian Andrew Znotins announced that from June 11 next year a new non-stop passenger service between Chengdu (capital of Southwest China's Sichuan province) and San Francisco will be opened.
Three flights will be launched per week as following:
Chengdu-San Francisco: Monday, Wednesday, Friday, 10:00 am - 8:50 am
San Francisco - Chengdu: Monday, Wednesday, Saturday 1:35 pm – 6:50 pm (+1day)
