Victoria Grace is an old cruise ship which was built in 1996 and refurbished in 2012. With American management adhering to the strictest Western standards, Victoria Grace offers Yangtze cruisers cozy accommodations, impeccable service and delicate dining to fit western travelers’ eating habits.
Victoria Grace has the fewest cabins among all the Victoria Cruises with only 99 staterooms in total, including four types - Superior Cabins, Executive Suites, Deluxe Suites and Shangri-La Suites. All the cabins have spate balconies and private bathrooms. With less crowds and noise, Victoria Grace offers you fine atmosphere to enjoy meals, attend different kinds of activities and entertainments onboard and take part in several interesting shore excursions. The itineraries, ports, departure & arrival time, shore excursions listed above are subject to change according to the weather, river condition and permission from the navigational authorities. Besides, activities onboard, dining and entertainment options vary and are subject to change.
The Victoria cruise company will arrange three shore excursions during the whole cruise between Chongqing and Yichang and usually there are two or three OPTIONAL shore excursions which are not listed in the fixed itinerary that travelers can decide to go or not based on your interest, real physical condition and budget. The optional sites will be visited depending on the number of travelers who want to go and the cost is 295 RMB/person for each, except Quyuan Birthplace for 220 RMB/person. If you want to go, tell the reception desk who would register for you and receive your pay in site. The ARRANGED shore excursions are included in your quotation, so you could visit the sites without extra charge. However, if you do not visit the sites, the fees of arranged shore excursion sites are not refunded. You could stay on the ship to enjoy some leisure time. For your safety, you are not allowed to leave your ship on your own.
The shore excursions to Fengdu Ghost City and White Emperor City need some steps climbing and comfortable shoes are highly recommended! If you have problems with steps, you can choose to stay on the ship without joining in the excursions (If it is the arranged shore excursion by the cruise company, please note that there is no refund).

In the superior cabins, two single beds cannot put into one double large bed.
Superior cabins of Victoria Grace are not roomy enough to include a third bed. For three passengers traveling together, it is suggested that either a suite be reserved, or the third passenger reserve a single or share basis in a separate cabin.

The cabins are arranged at random and if have your own idea about the deck you want to stay, please tell us your needs once you booked the cruise with us and our cruise experts will deliver your needs to the cruise company and try to meet your demand.
If you want to upgrade your deck after checking in, you can tell your needs to the front desk and the staff will check the room availability of that time. For most time, you can have your cabin upgraded to upper deck. If there is no room available, you need to stay the original room arranged. The upgrading service needs extra charge and please ask for detailed price at the front desk.

Cabins on upper decks aren’t always the best on the ship, but many Executive Suites and Superior Cabins are typically located on upper decks. A major bonus of being near the top of Victoria Grace is the view. The higher the deck, the better and more panoramic the view. Besides, if you want to enjoy the sunshine or Three Gorges scenery on the sun deck, you might choose a cabin on a high deck (like deck 3). Moreover, if you would like to attend activities or go to the bar, you can choose a higher deck for some entertainment facilities like Spa, Movie Theater, Internet Café and Yangtze Club are located.
For travelers with mobility difficulties, accessible cabins area likely to be located lower on the ship. Lower decks are close to areas of embarkation and disembarkation, as well as front desk, main lobby, main dining hall, so it shouldn’t be far to get to most places you’d like to go. If you are prone to very easy seasick (It would not be a problem for 99 percent of travelers ), you’d better choose a cabin at the middle of ship.

On board the Victoria Grace cruise you will always dine in a comfortable atmosphere, with both Chinese cuisine experience and captivating western dishes. To meet most travelers’ dining needs, Victoria has hired award winning celebrity chef and hospitality consultant Walter Web who are with five decades of experience to introduce the recipes and menus.
Breakfast, lunch and dinner are in buffet style and an elegant Captain’s Farewell banquet is served on the final night of the cruise. Three meals are served in a single-seating Dynasty Dining Room for travelers who stay in Superior Cabins, and those travelers in suites will enjoy meals in a separate dining room which offers buffet breakfast and lunch and an a la carte menu at dinner. It needs supplementary charge for travelers in Superior Cabins want to enjoy in the separate dining room.
Important Notes:
Travelers cannot enjoy tap water directly on Victoria Grace cruise. In your cabin, there are 1 to 2 bottles of spring water provided every day and you can drink it for free. Also, tea kettle is available in your cabin that you can use it. In the dining halls, there are some kinds of drinks served during the meals, like cola, sprite, juice, coffee, hot water and other soft drinks and wines. Also, complimentary tea and coffee is offered in the early morning before breakfast (usually at 06:30~07:00).
If you want to taste some beverages and drinks in the leisure time no matter during the day or at night, you can go to the Yangtze Club where offers many kinds of drinks and beverages, like Cocktail, Sparking Wine & Champagne, Gin, Tequila, Bourbon, Canadian Whisky, Rum, Vodka, Coffee, Chinese Spirit, Juicy, Tea & hot drinks and so on. These drinks need some charge that you can know detailed price for each item when get on board. Water and drinks are allowed to bring onboard and you’d better taste them in your cabins.
Victoria Grace cruise offers a wide variety of entertainment options and activities to keep you happy day and night. In the early morning, wake up joyfully and follow the Taichi master to play Taichi on the sun deck to stretch your body and smooth your mood.
In the free daytime, you can attend the meaningful lectures on Chinese history and culture which add insight and depth to the cruise experience. You can select to join in the lectures such as Yangtze River History & Three Gorges Dam Project, Chinese Medicine, Chinese Language, Chinese Traditional Brush Painting and Dumpling Wrapping, etc. These lectures are flexible and will be arranged based on different itineraries and interested travelers.
Life is very colorful at night that travelers can enjoy fashion shows and cabaret shows performed by the staff onboard which will not only have you know more about Chinese culture, but will bring you lot of fun and laughter with your mates. After the shows, you can enjoy theme film in your cabins to relax yourself.
With Victoria Grace you sail, you are sure to gain something new and cheerful onboard. To make you feel at home, the captain and other staff onboard will welcome you and your mates at the beginning of the cruise and see you off at the end of the trip.
Usually, all the travelers will take part in Captain’s Welcome Party on the second day that the captain will toast every guest personally and all of travelers can enjoy kinds of fruits, pastries and enjoy the happy together and celebrate the beginning of your voyage. On the last night of the cruise, all the travelers will enjoy Captain’s Farewell Dinner and celebrate fellows’ birthday together.
Dress code for the parties:
As a relaxing atmosphere is the first priority of Victoria Grace, the dress code on board is casual and comfortable. The evening dress code is generally unrestrained. As for the Captain’s Welcome Party and Farewell Dinner, a suite and tie for a man or an evening dress for a woman is not strictly required, but avoiding dressing too casual like jeans, round-neck shirts, shorts, slippers and so on.
When you start your journey on Victoria Grace, the first think you will notice is the nice atmosphere when you get onboard. The staff with smiling face will wait for your embarkation at the pier and lead your way to the ship. The English-speaking staff at front desk will help you check in and ask for details about your personal needs and record your needs and arrange everything smoothly. From this moment, you will experience high level of service in every detail from room service, dining, entertainment to shore excursions. If you need the public transportation, please tell your ideas to the front desk and they will try to help you enjoy worry free transfer to the airport / train station after disembarkation.
Professional Guide Service: There is an English-speaking river guide and a cruise director on Victoria Grace. The cruise director is always at your hand, answer your questions and meet your personal needs. The river guide will provide interesting lectures about China and the Yangtze River, and narrative about the sightseeing along Three Gorges (Qutang Gorge, Wu Gorge and Xiling Gorge).
Laundry: You can put your clothes in the laundry bag in your cabin and fill the laundry service form or directly call the reception desk. The staff will take them to do laundry (no dry-cleaning) and return to your cabins after ready. The prices are reasonable. (PS: Laundry services are not provided during the first day and the last day of the cruise trip.)
WIFI: Wifi is available on Victoria Grace cruise, but sometimes unstable. You can use it in your cabin, lobby and other places. It needs extra charge.
Pamper yourself with some ultimate relaxation in spa, massage and sauna. You can pay to enjoy the SPA and massage to release your tense and pressure of both your mind and body. Also, you can do a sauna to expel the toxin through perspiration while enjoy some light music. If you want to do some sports, you can go to the gym room to exercise your body.
There is 1 or 2 doctors professional at traditional Chinese and western treatment working in the Clinic on Victoria Grace. Travelers feeling uncomfortable or ill onboard can have treatment at 2F and need to pay extra.
