The opening ceremony of the 22nd Qingdao International Beach Festival was held on Oct 12 at Qingdao No 1 Bathing Beach situated in Huiquan Bay. The festival lasted to Oct 16.
The festival included a series of activities including beach volleyball games, painting competitions, lion dance performance, wrestling, swimming, a beach-style wedding ceremony and so on.
