Fuxing bullet train to come into service in north China

China's most newly developed bullet train, the Fuxing, will come into service in Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei rail route next Monday.

The Fuxing bullet train is going to serve ten stops on the route, including Wuqing, Tianjin, Zhuozhou, Gaobeidian, Baoding and Shijiazhuang, via 45 one-way trips.

The new fleet marks a key effort by the country to promote integrated transportation development in the region. Travellers will benefit from the most advanced bullet trains, the operator said.

Railway authorities promised to provide high-quality service at a good price to travellers. More Fuxing bullet trains are on schedule to be put into operation.

Fuxing bullet trains are entirely designed and manufactured in China, led by the China Railway Corporation. China holds the complete intellectual property rights on the trains.

On July 27, China usedhe Fuxing bullet train to complete a test in order to restore the maximum speed of the Beijing-Shanghai high-speed bullet train to 350 km/h, six years after it was reduced to 300 km/h.

The Fuxing bullet train plans to run at a speed of 350 km/h between Beijing and Shanghai from this September.
